With Contact North | Contact Nord, Northumberland Peterborough area residents can get the education and training they need to improve their skills, land a job, build a career or just learn a new hobby — all without leaving their community.

From basic literacy and high school upgrading to full college diplomas and university degrees (plus fun stuff like digital photography and online webinars), Contact North | Contact Nord provides access to thousands of online learning options.

There’s something for all ages, with services that are 100% free:

• Information on Ontario’s online programs and courses from 24 public colleges, 25 public universities, 9 Indigenous institutes, 76 district school boards, 200 literacy and basic skills providers, and 20 skills development training providers
• Help to register, and information on financial aid
• Study Online Successfully service
• Technology support services
o IT technical hotline
o Laptops and Internet to complete coursework at home
• Use of web conferencing platforms
• Study Online Quick Tips app and website
