Steven Lawson

After moving to Toronto in 2014, Steven began working for the US Consulate in Toronto in the Non-Immigrant Visa unit. He spent the next 6-1/2 years becoming a highly respected visa analyst as a member of the E Visa Team. He has been recognized for his deep understanding of the E1 and E2 non-immigrant visas (Treaty Trader and Investor visas) receiving numerous awards for his outstanding work. He has provided concise analysis on 3,300 visa applications and his research into complex E Visa issues has been supported by various US government agencies including the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, and the Drug Enforcement Agency. After leaving the US Consulate in 2022, Steven has turned his attention to helping Canadians and nationals of other countries having trade treaties with the US conduct trade and/or operate businesses in the US.
